Wonderful One of a Kind
Seems like this is one of the best One of a Kinds ever!… the organizers have reorganized the hall, added red carpet and nifty benches down the middle row of the Original Art Section. Much more festive - the carousel in the centre area adds to the ambiance.
Likely my most successful Show ever, as well - 14 paintings sold as of today, with 4 and a half days left. So grateful.
Back to the One of a Kind
Getting all set for the Winter Show, starting up in a couple of days, November 27th!… It runs until December 7th and I hope to meet a lot of nice art-loving people who make it out to see the Show, with all the talented exhibitors.
I’m in the Original Art section, in the middle area at I25. This year I’m featuring almost entirely figurative paintings and have lots of brand new pieces I’d love to show you.
Cabbagetown Art & Craft Show 2025
Having a great time at the Cabbagetown Art Show in downtown Toronto!… Nancy and I are staying with our friend Cindy right nearby. A fantastic neighbourhood, a really interesting show, which we’ve never done before!
Toronto Outdoor Art Fair 2025
What a weekend!… this year’s Fair was so hot, with some showers thrown into the mix on Sunday morning. A big show with lots of artists, some nice sales for Nancy and myself - and I’m grateful to all who participated, stopped by my tent, and those who attended.
My tent aimed directly west, near the big stage - a definite challenge as far as getting sun directly into my display starting from early afternoon until the end of day, 7pm. So hot - but my wife and I slogged it out and kudos to our visitors!
Art in the Park, Ottawa
What a wonderful weekend in Central Park, right here in Ottawa. The weather, the people, the exhibitors, the contacts - and the sales were very excellent, and I’m thankful for all involved that made this such a great experience.
I hadn’t done the show for a few years but hope to make it a regular thing!
2 of my amazing collectors - many thanks!
Kingsway Lampton Charity Art Show 2025
Another awesome show at the Kingsway Lampton Church in Toronto, not far from where I grew up. Big thanks to all the organizers who make it so special, the participants, the attendees and the collectors who made it a great day for Nancy and myself as well as the other artists! (Great cookies, too, of course).
Happy Customer & Artist.
PC Nut Tins are Here!
Display at Shoppers Drug Mart, Kanata
Loblaws approached me last spring, and I was delighted that they chose 2 of my abstract paintings to feature on their specialty tins for Mixed Nuts and Cashews. I just noticed them in a couple of Shoppers Drug Marts near where I live in kanata last week - they did a fantastic job of arranging the type in harmony with my artwork, and I thank them for a job well done (there’s a small bio on the sides of the tin covers, fyi.)
Big thanks to Loblaws for featuring Canadian artists in this way!
Thanks for a great Show!
How lucky am I to be able to feature my art in a great setting like the One of a Kind Winter Show, mix with my awesome fellow exhibitors (we’re like a family now, you know) and meet so many exceptional folks like yourselves. My collectors, of course, make me even more grateful and determined to give them art that will bring them, as well as their families, joy for many years to come.
I brought almost entirely figurative paintings this year - I hope to mix things up a little bit to blend the range of my work together more comprehensively in the future.
